I am currently doing some research to find out the best cash-back credit card in India.
So far, I have discovered that ABN AMRO's ONE credit card fits my needs best.
It does charge an annual fee of INR 600 but it gives an average return of >1.5% in solid cash for about first INR 29000/month you will spend on anything (a total of INR 6000 every year). Plus, there is no surcharge at any petrol punps !!
Is there anything better out there? Am I missing something in its fine print? Please feel free to comment.

the only and the biggest issue is to have the salary account and credit card with the same bank..incase of some dispute bank just easily pulls out the money from ur salary account...and i have some examples for it..it then really takes some effort to get it right....The reason i stopped using ABN credit card is that i am in the habit of dropping a post dated cheque for payment..post dated for abt 15 days...ABN somehow does not handle it,,I drop a cheque for the first of next month when the statement is generated...Anyways HSBC also has issues with this...but SBI and Citibank cards are perfect..so i just use them. With Citibank the online bill pay is also v convenient. SBI has generally no hidden charges,,quite straight..
